Inspirational Guest for Elementary School Students

Inspirational

As part of our mentorship program we LOVE inviting community leaders to be guest speakers in the classroom and share how they have applied the Universal Principles to their lives!

Recently, Sarah Jeanne Derheimer spoke at Pioneer Elementary School sharing her story of how she lost both of her hands at the age of 14. She believes that children are our future and teaches the valuable lesson that like a box of crayons, all people are different. Each crayon is a different color, size, and some are even broken! But it’s our differences that create a beautiful picture and make our world a better place. A great BIG T1L1 thank you to Sarah for sharing your story and for inspiring and encouraging students by letting them know that their differences are what make them special and give them value! The world is more beautiful because YOU are in it!
