Seventy F’s to three

F grade

When the T1L1 mentors began teaching the kids at Prairie High School in the Fall of 2012 they had no idea the impact they would make on the student’s academic performance. At the six-week progress report, one of the teachers reported that his forty students had a combined seventy F grades.

The mentors and teacher were stunned when they saw those seventy F’s shrink down to only three for the same group of forty kids at the semester break in January 2013.

The students in the program at Prairie High School are developing their leadership abilities and getting better grades, thanks to the T1L1 influence on their lives.  At T1L1, we celebrate these kids’ academic success!
